2. Remind Yourself of the Things You Are Grateful For
Stresses and challenges don't seem quite as bad when you are constantly reminding yourself of the things that are right in life. Taking just 60 seconds a day to stop and appreciate the good things will make a huge difference.

3. Look for the Proof Instead of Making Assumptions
A fear of not being liked or accepted sometimes leads us to assume that we know what others are thinking, but our fears are usually not reality. If you have a fear that a friend or family member's bad mood is due to something you did, or that your co-workers are secretly gossiping about you when you turn your back, speak up and ask them. Don't waste time worrying that you did something wrong unless you have proof that there is something to worry about.

4. Refrain from Using Absolutes
Have you ever told a partner "You're ALWAYS late!" or complained to a friend "You NEVER call me!"? Thinking and speaking in absolutes like 'always' and 'never' makes the situation seem worse than it is, and programs your brain into believing that certain people are incapable of delivering.

It's never productive, because it's not rational or solution-oriented, it's just excessive worry. Try changing your physical environment - go for a walk or sit outside. India beats Australia by 9 runs to win the second final game of best-of-three CB tri-series finals by 2-0. Sachin Tendulkar shines agains to make wonderful 91 runs which made their score 258 for 9. But multi-drug resistance is also growing. In 1999-2002, based on 755 patients with no history of previous treatment resistance was 5.4 percent for isoniazid, 8.9 percent to streptomycin and multi-drug resistance TB was 1.9 percent. These figures are estimated to have gone up in recent years.

Investigators say that he wants someone, to whom he was writing that mail want to meet Wayyum. He also asks some questions in the email which was saved on 21th August, which was four days before the blast in Lumbini Park in Hydarabad city of India. Riyazuddin Nasir was revealed to had planted the bomb in the park. Another word in the message rsn, according to investigators means ration which is code word for arms and ammunitions in terrorists language.

In Banten province, a coastal area in Indonesia's main island of Java, a drill simulating a tsunami strike was held involving some 9,000 residents.

Scientists may be a step closer to uncovering the cause of certain types of debilitating migraine headaches.

A French team observed activation in the hypothalamus region of the brain as sufferers had a migraine attack.

The hypothalamus has long been suspected as it regulates physiological responses to factors known to trigger headaches, such as hunger.

It is hoped the discovery, featured in the journal Headache, could lead to new treatments.

The researchers, from Rangueil Hospital , used a technique called Positron Emission Tomography (PET), which contrasts functional activity within the brain, on seven patients with migraine without aura, the most common type of migraine.

Previously, activation in the brain stem and midbrain, and a thickening in some areas of the cortex were seen in migraine sufferers.

The timing was crucial: to capture an attack as it happened, patients rushed to hospital without self-medicating, arriving on average around three hours after the onset of the migraine.

An alliance of opposition parties in Pakistan has called on the public to boycott the polls.
The All Party Democratic Movement (APDM) has launched a public campaign to support their cause.
The APDM includes the party of former cricketer Imran Khan and the religious Jamaat-e-Islami party which was earlier part of an Islamic coalition.
They have found common ground in refusing to take part in the elections which are due to be held on 8 January.
Just as bigger opposition parties are starting to hold election rallies, the APDM has launched an anti-election campaign.
In a joint statement, they declared that the very basis for the elections was false.
President Musharraf had been re-elected unconstitutionally, they said - and he should quit.
The elections could only be genuine if the judges who had been removed from the Supreme Court were reinstated, they said.
The parties also said the Election Commission and the interim government should be fully neutral and independent, and that restrictions on the media should be lifted.

Sunni Arabs ended a yearlong political boycott earlier this month in Kirkuk -- the hub of Iraq's northern oil fields -- under a deal that sets aside government posts for Arabs. It was the biggest step yet toward unity ahead of a referendum on the area's future.
Rice was highlighting that development, although a separate ethnic group is still boycotting the provincial governing council, and the new role of the United Nations in resolving the future of disputed Kirkuk.

War Equipment Missing in Iraq

Tractor trailers, tank recovery vehicles, crates of machine guns and rocket propelled grenades are just a sampling of more than $1 billion in unaccounted for military equipment and services provided to the Iraqi security forces, according to a new report issued today by the Pentagon Inspector General and obtained exclusively by the CBS News investigative unit. Auditors for the Inspector General reviewed equipment contracts totaling $643 million but could only find an audit trail for $83 million.

The report details a massive failure in government procurement revealing little accountability for the billions of dollars spent purchasing military hardware for the Iraqi security forces. For example, according to the report, the military could not account for 12,712 out of 13,508 weapons, including pistols, assault rifles, rocket propelled grenade launchers and machine guns.
The report comes on the same day that Army procurement officials will face tough questions from the Senate Armed Services Committee regarding their procurement policies.

There was no word from the university, however, on whether Grobe would replace Nutt, who quit Nov. 26 and was hired almost immediately by Mississippi.

The Razorback Foundation raises funds privately for Arkansas athletic programs and pays coaches amounts far beyond their regular state salaries. Nutt, for instance, made $330,000 annually from the state but had a compensation package worth $1.5 million a year — much of the extra coming from Foundation funds.

Generally people don't do this way but I like it. Since I'm the boss of my office If I manage some time to visit place in my business trip no one will stop me. So, I often go to see places even after I finish my business deals when I go abroad. Since I am very much interested to see new places so I work harder when I'm in office so that I can take out sometimes to visit places. Last time, I visited Kauai. I had heard a lot about the goodness of Kauai vacation rentals and found that even better.I only spend 2 days there so I didn't get chance to see other places in Hawaii.

Chavez Asks Vote for Socialism

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez is facing his toughest challenge in years as voters decide whether to approve constitutional changes in a referendum.

The raft of reforms includes allowing abolishing presidential term limits and ending the Central Bank's autonomy.

Mr Chavez says the proposed changes would return power to the people, but opponents accuse him of a power grab.

On Saturday, President Chavez repeated a threat to stop oil supplies to the US if it tried to disrupt the ballot.

Mr Chavez has warned that his opponents could try to sabotage the vote, with backing from Washington, through violent protests.

At a news conference, he said: "In the case of an aggression by the US government, we wouldn't send any more oil to that country. Forget about our oil."

Opec member Venezuela currently exports about 60% of its oil to the United States - a trade worth an estimated $37bn (£18.5bn) a year.

Seeking to keep the peace in its popular online hangout, Facebook Inc. has overhauled a new advertising system that sparked privacy complaints by turning its users into marketing tools for other companies.

Under the changes outlined late Thursday, Facebook's 55 million users will be given greater control over whether they want to participate in a three-week-old program that circulates potentially sensitive information about their online purchases and other activities.

Facebook provided two different opportunities to block the details from being shared, but many users said they never saw the "opt-out" notices before they disappeared from the screen.

With the reforms, Facebook promised its users will now have to give their explicit consent, or "opt-in," before any information is passed along.

The concessions were made after more than 50,000 Facebook users signed an online petition blasting the system, called "Beacon," as a galling intrusion that put the Palo Alto-based startup's pursuit of profit ahead of its members' privacy interests.

Few Nebraska football fans are going to argue with Tom Osborne's decision on an interim head coach.

Already the interim athletic director, Osborne declared himself the coach until he hires a successor to Bill Callahan, allowing Nebraska's beloved former coach to visit prospective recruits and try to prevent the program from slipping during the recruiting contact period.

Athletic department communications Chief Randy York said the 70-year-old Osborne, who took over the department after the firing of Steve Pederson last month, passed an NCAA certification test on his first try Wednesday and has informed the Big 12 office of his new title.

Osborne was unavailable for comment Thursday. York said he would be on the road recruiting through the end of the week.

Gary Bargen, assistant athletic director in charge of compliance, said the interim AD tag would have limited Osborne to meeting with prospective recruits only if they visited campus. Now he can visit recruits in schools and homes until Dec. 15.

Today Leila is a young woman of 22. For the past two years she has been cared for by a private home for destitute young women in Tehran, Omid E Mehr, which means Hope.

"My mother would say: 'Let's go out to buy things, like chocolates'. She would actually trick me. I was a tiny girl. She just took me to places."

Leila still finds it difficult to talk about the past. But we know that the "places" she speaks of are where she was sold for sex and raped.

Leila became the main source of income for a family of five.

The lawyer, who eventually saved Leila's life, Shadi Sadr, is a controversial figure in Iran.
