I didnt know that hockey is that much popular in India. I was watching a movie in theater today and saw the trailor of a movie which was all about hockey. The movie is form Chopras so I think this is going to be a great movie. As being a great hockey fan, I have no plan to miss this movie.

MySpace bars 29,000 sex offenders

The company found more than 29,000 convicted sex offenders in the United States had profiles on MySpace - up from a figure of 7,000 given in May.

MySpace said it was pleased it had identified and removed the profiles of the offenders.Critics of MySpace call for new laws to make such sites safer for children.MySpace is a personal website tool allowing people to post blogs, music, and videos.More than 80 million people have registered a MySpace page. News Corp bought the site for $580m last year.

'Screams for action'

The new figures were first released by officials in two states - North Carolina and Connecticut - which have been pressing MySpace to reveal data about sex offenders found to be using the site.

"The exploding epidemic of sex offender profiles on MySpace - 29,000 and counting - screams for action," said Connecticut Attorney General Richard Blumenthal.

In North Carolina, Attorney General Roy Cooper wants a state law that would require children to obtain parental permission before creating profiles on sites such as MySpace, and require the site to check parents' identity.

He said such a law would mean "fewer children at risk, because there will be fewer children on those web sites".

Under current rules, users must be over the age of 14 to register with MySpace.

In a statement, MySpace said: "We're pleased that we've successfully identified and removed registered sex offenders from our site and hope that other social networking sites follow our lead."

There are about 600,000 registered sex offenders in the United States.

Joost got 1 million beta testers

I read an wonderful news about joost today in techcrunch. I never thought Joost is this much popular. However I've used joost and this is another awesome product by the skype team. Here is a news from techcrunch.

A week after leaving a 45-day rehab program, actress Lindsay Lohan has turned herself in to police to face charges of drunken driving in connection with a May car crash.

Lohan, 21, went to the Beverly Hills Police Department late on Thursday to be fingerprinted, photographed and booked on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit and run, Beverly Hills police officer Ryan Balleweg said.

Authorities will decide later whether to charge her.

The allegations stem from a May 26 incident in which Lohan lost control of her Mercedes-Benz sports car and drove into a hedge. She then left the scene. Police said at the time they also found a small amount of what they believed to be cocaine in the car.

The incident followed months of hard partying by the "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls" star, who had been a regular at Hollywood nightspots and attending Alcoholics Anonymous programs for a year despite having turned 21 -- the legal age for drinking in the United States -- only this month.

Immediately after the May crash, Lohan checked herself into a Malibu rehab center for the second time in a year. She left last week and now wears an alcohol monitoring bracelet on a voluntary basis, her spokeswoman said.

Lohan was released after the booking procedure and given an August 24 hearing date, police said.

The widow of daniel perl sues al Qaeda over husband's killing

NEW YORK (Reuters) - The widow of slain Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl filed a lawsuit on Wednesday against al Qaeda, other radical groups and Pakistan-based Habib Bank Ltd over the 2002 abduction, torture and murder of her husband.

Mariane Pearl, whose story is told in the recently released movie "A Mighty Heart" starring Angelina Jolie, filed the suit at U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York, according to her lawyers.

"Plaintiffs seek to hold responsible those terrorists, terrorist organizations and the supporting charitable and banking organizations for the senseless kidnapping, torture and murder of Daniel Pearl," the suit said.

It seeks an unspecified amount of money, whatever the court "deems appropriate", to prevent the defendants from committing similar acts.

But when I check analytics back 1 week and gave 1 hour to analyze this analytics I found it really cool.You can organize the dashboard, thats why I like most about this. Die hard four point zero

May be this is a good film, but its not of my type and I dont like this movie. Bruce Willis have played wonderful role where I didnt see any other artists remarkable. So many things including climbing up an elevator shaft, throwing himself off an exploding building, or racing barefoot across a flood littered with glass shards are really scary. Its intresting yes, but the story is just a story, I mean nothing really good. I have not seen the previous movies may be thats why I dont like this movie. I dont say it waste of money but its not worth good money.
