Venus williams won her fourth Championship with a 6-4, 6-1 victory over France's Marion Bartoli that was harder earned than the score would indicate. She was low ranked after the injury. She was at the 31st position after the injury-hit year of little activity. She bagged 700,000 which is the equal amount as for the man and its the first time for that.
